The organization envisioned to show a model of development that is  self-sustaining,  and managed by indigenous leadership. It seeks to develop first and foremost its greatest human resources, the indigenous people of the island through education and by providing the necessary infrastructure that supports life in the deep jungles of Kalimantan. Since 1993, the following has been accomplished.

  1. motorcycleJungle Kalimantan 2006The acquisition of a 54-hectare land that is 60 miles away from the main city of Pontianak.
    By car 2 hours from the city through a 52-mile road, then the remaining 8 miles by  our new unpaved road. This land is being developed as the main base of operation and soon to be the Center
    of Higher Learning.


  2. Kalimantan ClassThe establishment of a Multi-purpose Community Center that is already fully operational since 2003. The Center has a seating capacity of 400 people when fully packed. It caters to the needs of the community to assemble for meetings, fellowships, educational forums and other community events.


  3. High SchoolThe establishment of an Elementary and Middle School Building that accommodates a maximum of 350 children.  Currently, it has a total of 227 enrollees.  The school has been fully functioning since August 2006.



  4. Dormitory The establishment of the First Academic Dormitory that accommodates a maximum of approx. 250 children.  This phase  of the project is currently on the finishing stage. It is hoped to be fully operational by end of March 2009.



  5.  The full sponsorship of 14 scholars in our school and in other schools in Indonesia.

  7. There are 55 orphaned children currently being housed, fed, clothed and educated in the facility a no cost.
