There are 35 orphans as of August 2008, however the numbers are climbing fast. We have committed to a 250 orphans by 2011. Therefore, it is essentials to build the orphans dormitory as fast as possible. 

Pictures below shows the first 35 orphans and some of the first excursions / outings to the beach special games, and at last to the big city of Pontianak where none of the children have ever seen a big city not to mention a modern mall.

The Pontianak Mall

Most of the orphans had never seen a mall so this trip was a real wish come true.

Most of the children in anticipation of going to the beach did not sleep at all that night before. Worrying they might miss the bus that's why they all look sleepy.
